Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent (below) that includes: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed; (3) identification of the material you claim is infringing and its location on the Platform (such as the course URL) so we can find it; (4) your contact information; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Counter-Notification

If your content was removed or disabled and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to our designated agent that includes: your signature; identification of the removed material and its prior location; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; your contact information; and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court. We may restore the material as permitted by law unless the original complainant takes further action.

Repeat-Infringer Policy

We will, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, disable or terminate the accounts of users — including instructors — who are determined to be repeat infringers of intellectual-property rights.
